Two bedrooms, one bath, and a private dock on the canal — turnkey, single-level, and a short walk or bike from the ocean. Bring the flip-flops; we've handled the rest.
Real photos of Lucky Landing — the cottage at dusk, fishing off the private dock, morning coffee over the canal, and the bright, fully-equipped kitchen.
This single-story "beach box" was built in 1968 and has been steadily loved and updated ever since — a newer roof and septic, refreshed electrical, new pilings, and a recent plumbing update. It lives easy: no stairs to climb with the cooler, no maze of rooms to keep track of.
A flexible open dining-and-flex space sits at the heart of the home — perfect for board games on a rainy afternoon, a puzzle, or setting up a laptop if you have to "work" from paradise. Two comfortable bedrooms plus a sofa bed sleep four to six.
Out back, the sun deck and the dock are the real living room. This is where the week actually happens.

Your private dock sits right on the canal, with a clear run out to the Pamlico Sound. Tie up a small boat, drop a chicken-neck line and a crab net off the edge, slide a kayak into the water, or just sit with your feet over the side and watch the egrets work the shallows. Kids will spend hours here. So will you.
From NC Highway 12, turn onto Sea Shore Drive, then a left on S. Albacore, a left on Pompano, and a right onto Lucky Landing. You'll find the cottage on a level corner lot, a quick walk or bike to the ocean, the sound, dinner, and the grocery.
