Like most of Hatteras Island, we rent by the week with a Saturday-to-Saturday turn in peak season. Here's what to expect — and how to lock in your dates.

Fall (September–October) is the island's best-kept secret: warm water, light crowds, and prime red-drum fishing.
No surprises at checkout. Here's everything that gets added to the weekly rate.

50% to reserve your dates, 50% due 30 days before arrival.
The $500 security deposit is refundable and returned after checkout, assuming no damage beyond normal wear.
Cancel more than 60 days before arrival: your deposit is returned.
Cancel within 60 days of arrival: the deposit is forfeited. We're a single family cottage, not a hotel — a late cancellation usually means the week goes unbooked, which is why the window is what it is.
We accept Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and credit card. Zelle and Venmo are the simplest for us and have no processing fee.
We'll send payment details once your dates are confirmed — never in an unsolicited message. If you get a payment request that didn't come from a conversation you started, it isn't from us.
Peak season: 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday.
