Let someone else find the fish

Inshore fishing charters.

A local captain, light tackle, and the shallow, productive waters of the Pamlico Sound — no boat, gear, or local knowledge required.

Inshore vs. offshore

Inshore charters stay in the sound and near the inlets — shorter trips, calmer water, and light tackle aimed at speckled trout, red drum, flounder, and cobia. Offshore charters run out to the Gulf Stream for tuna, mahi, wahoo, and marlin — longer days, rougher water, and a bigger price tag. If you want a strong shot at a real catch without committing to a full offshore day, inshore is the better starting point, especially with kids or first-timers aboard.
